Daniel is an associate in the Corporate Finance practice and is based in O’Melveny’s Singapore office. He advises on a broad range of financing structures, with an emphasis on cross-border acquisition finance and specialist financing transactions, predominantly representing private equity sponsors and private credit funds. He has also advised a number of clients on special situations involving distressed companies. Daniel has extensive experience of financings across Asia, with particular experience in India, Southeast Asia and Australia, where he has advised on a large number of complex and often first-of-a-kind financings.

- a common refinancing in relation to two of its portfolio companies, Suven Pharmaceuticals Limited and Cohance Lifesciences Limited, both pharmaceutical companies in India
- a margin loan financing in connection with its investment in Yes Bank, a private sector bank in India
- the debt financing for its acquisition of Suven Pharmaceuticals Limited, an Indian listed pharmaceutical company, and subsequent upsize and amendments
- PAG Asia Capital Limited on:
- the debt financing for its acquisition of Manjushree Technopack, an Indian rigid plastic packaging company, from Advent International
- the debt financing aspects in connection with its investment in Nuvama Wealth Management Limited, an Indian financial services company
- the debt financing in connection with the acquisition of Sekhmet Pharmaventures Private Limited, a pharmaceutical investment platform based in India
- EQT on:
- the refinancing of its acquisition debt in relation to its investment in Fitness Passport, an Australian and New Zealand based health and membership services company
- the debt financing for its acquisition of PageUp, an Australian founded SaaS human resources company
- the debt financing for its take-private acquisition of Keywords Studios plc, a UK listed video game services company. This was the first time an Asian bank financing was arranged in support of a major PE sponsor-led UK public to private acquisition. This transaction was named “Loan Deal of the Year 2024” by IFLR
- the debt financing aspects in relation to its investment in GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, a global provider of healthcare outsourcing solutions based in India
- the debt financing aspects in relation to its investment in Sagility (formerly Hinduja Global Solutions Limited’s healthcare services related business), a global business process management and member/patient experience business
- the debt financing for its acquisition of IMG Academy, a Florida based sports education institution. This was a first-of-a-kind transaction where an Asian bank financing was used to fund the acquisition of a U.S. business with no immediate nexus to Asia
- the debt financing aspects in relation to its investment in CitiusTech Healthcare Technology Private Limited, an Indian digital healthcare SaaS platform
- TPG on various portfolio investments in the Asia Pacific region
- GLP Capital Partners on certain financing aspects in connection with the sale of GCP International to Ares Management Corporation
- Platinum Equity on the debt financing for its acquisition of a controlling stake in Hop Lun, an international fashion lingerie and swimwear company and multiple subsequent bolt-on acquisitions
- Ascendent Capital Partners on various fund financing facilities
- Quadria Capital on the debt financing for its acquisition of Straits Orthopaedics, a manufacturer of orthopaedic and medical devices based in Malaysia
- Bain Capital Credit on various portfolio investments in the Asia Pacific region
- Blackstone Capital Partners on the debt financing aspects in relation to its acquisition of Shya Hsin
