O’Melveny Named “International Deal Firm of the Year”, Wins “Dealmaker of the Year” at Asian Legal Business’s Korea Law Awards 2022

SEOUL—NOVEMBER 28, 2022—O’Melveny has been named “International Deal Firm of the Year” at the Asian Legal Business Korea Law Awards held earlier this month. In addition, Seoul partner Daniel Kim was named the “Dealmaker of the Year”.
Altogether, the firm was shortlisted for five awards, including “International Arbitration Law Firm of the Year”, “M&A Deal of the Year” for our work on DL Chemical’s US$2.5 billion acquisition of Kraton Corporation, and “TMT Deal of the Year” for our work on CJ ENM’s billion-dollar acquisition of Endeavor Content.
